Palm Beach Lakes Girls Powerlifting Team!

A solid CONGRATULATIONS are in order for our PBL Girls Powerlifting Team! They beat the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats. The team, consisting of six powerhouse girls, has set new personal records.

Amelia Forrest benched-pressed 100 lbs. and clean/jerked 100 lbs.

Caleiyah Laws set a new personal record, bench pressing 95 lbs. and clean/jerking 100 lbs.

Jada Quince also set a new personal record; she bench-pressed 95 lbs. and clean/jerked 100 lbs.

Ashley Metayer set a new record for herself, bench pressing 75 lbs. and clean/jerking 85 lbs.

Sierra Bivins, who bench-pressed 90 lbs. and clean/jerked 90 lbs., also set a new personal record.

Abriyah Cleveland followed suit setting her own new personal record, bench pressing 75 lbs. and clean/jerking 85 lbs.

Being outnumbered (RPB has 20 lifters; Lakes has only 6.), PBL lifters were the underdogs; however, the Lady Rams Powerlifting Team completely swept their competition by winning 1st place in each of their weight classes.”The Girls Powerlifting team got many compliments on their strength, form, and sportsmanship,” said Ms. Walters, the head coach of the Lady Rams Powerlifting Team.
