College-Bound Seniors!

Makayla Everett, Student Writer

College is a hard place to get into; it takes a lot of hard work and dedication! These seniors seem to have mastered the skills. With plenty community service hours and lots of school spirit, club participation, student government elections, sports activities, and even special licensing to become an esthetician (among other professional titles), many seniors portray the BEST of LAKES!

Maxwell Rolle, for example, was accepted into Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) and will be majoring in criminal justice and business administration. He was Mr. PBL and head drum major for the Ram Regiment Band at PBL. Amelia Forrest was accepted into Florida Memorial University and is majoring in criminal justice as well. She is the Vice President of the Class of 2022 and a member of both the Law and Fire Academies. Caleiyah Laws is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society who was accepted into FAMU and is majoring in health assistance. She hopes to become an occupational therapist.

This is just a small sampling of the goodness coming out of Lakes this school year. The Class of 2022 is constantly proving that Lakes is truly on top!
